Visawa Animals Foundation Wardha

Mr.Kiran Mokadam and Mrs.Sarika Mokadam are the founders of the Visawa Animals Foundation wardha .This organization is profit free. The Visawa Animals Foundation has been established to raise awareness among the people to stop the cruelty on the helpless animals. Dr. Prakash Baba Amte and Dr. Mandakini Prakash Amte are the ideal of this couple. This couple is double post graduates and both of them have taken the degree of “social work” From Kumbhalkar college of social work wardha. These couples had decided to study because they did not want to do a job. But to work a lifetime in the form of service for the stray And wandering animals.

These couples have been animal lovers from the beginning. They also served him for ten years by the People for Animals Pipri Meghe Wardha. (2010 to 2020). For the last 13 years, the work of feeding 50 to 60 wandering or street dogs has been started constantly. Initially for this work, Mr. Kiran named people very much like, beggar, fakir, pagal,(crazy) Roti Wale Baba, Kutte Wale Baba. But they continued their work without paying attention to the people. During the lockdown period, it was time for these helpless dogs to starve because the hotel shops or houses that these helpless dogs depended on all the people were closed due to lockdown. Now, the dogs started wandering for food, but it was time for them to eat dung/dirt on them. This couple saw this picture and decided that they should do something. They Decided to beg for food from people.

On the first day of asking for help from people, food was collected and about 250 needy dogs were fed. Mr.Kiran literally hit the hands of the police in the corona period, but he did not stop feeding these stray dogs. And today, 320 stray dogs are given food daily 2 times. The purpose is to create love, awareness and affection for these stray dogs among the common people, and the organization expects everyone to imitate it. Also, the couple dreams that there will be awareness among the people, that one day a day will come that every wandering /stray dog in Wardha city will be asleep with a full meal. It is not necessary to get the inspiration of a good work every day in a good event that can be found in a bad event. The same thing happened in the case of this couple.

Two indian dogs were picked up and adopted by them from the road. Their names were Tiger and Sheru. This couple has no children. The couple used to handle the Sheru and Tiger as their childs. Sheru was six years old and Tiger was eight years old on March 31, 2020, the sheru’s health suddenly deteriorated. Then the couple took him to the hospital for treatment. He was fine all day, but at night her health suddenly worsened. Then Sheru did not give time and he died in half an hour. The couple became very sad because of this event.

For the past ten years, these couples have been animal lovers, they have saved the lives of many stray animals, satisfying them with food through work in other of NGO for 10 years. At the funeral of Sheru, a thought came to Mr.Kiran’s mind. The idea was the treatment of the injured, stray dogs. He first told his wife, the wife immediately committed him to support him in this treatment campaign.

It is very easy to bother with the life of the pet. But it is difficult to serve and care for stray animals. Mr. Kiran has made a paravet. course by a S.A.R.A.H. organization at Gangtok Sikkim in 2013. The couple presented the idea of a wandering/ stray dog -free treatment campaign. from the couple in front of Dr. Sandeep Joge Sir.He also liked this idea and he decided to help in this free treatment daily campaign in the form of advice and guidance and the free treatment campaign started.

Then the couple established the Visawa Animals Foundation wardha on November 27, 2020, The organization is the motto of the “Vedas can be read, pain must be read!” this organization is working daily.24*7 Through this organization, stray dogs were treated by public participation and cured for public co-operation.

At the same time, his wife Sarika is truly contributing and supporting him shoulder to shoulder in every treatment. It is said that people spend their lives in search of happiness, but These couples are in search of misery because they want to be treated as a cure for suffering. Since the organization does not have its own space and shelter, the treatment is possible on the road in which these stray dogs will not need to be recruited. NGO working on the treatment of In the daily form of the following type of treatment – Itching injury fever hypothermia accident, poisoning.

So far, more than 1150 wounded and injured and needy stray dogs have been treated (free) through this organization through public participation and cooperation. The organization and couple is often honored for the selfless service of stray dogs.

This treatment campaign always helps in the city’s many volunteers serving and giving their time.

This free treatment campaign is currently limited to Wardha city and the organization is working 24*7.

They called the helpless dogs in the name of “Lekaru.”(child). Wardha’s Dr. Sandeep Joge Sir (M.V.SC) VET. They receive help and guidance. All these treatments are going to the place. Both of these campaigns seem to have a lot of awareness because people are now inspired by the campaign, and the helpless dogs themselves.

The helpline number of this organization has reached almost everyone in Wardhan city. where the helpless dog is seen in the city people immediately call them. It is possible and currently the city of Wardha is limited. Many rescue works have also been done through this organization due to this work, the couple is known as the “crazy couple” in Wardha city. Now, because of this work, people are starting to know Mr.kiran in the name of Dogfather. These couples have dedicated their lives to the stray animal service.
